I our environment, we often have to use the “reply” functionality to get additional information or clarification back from the original message sender . Very often the originators are very good a responding quickly with the requested specifics, but this is where things get funky.
The response to the detail/clarification request is inserted into the message queue as if it were just another incoming message. There is no indication that it is not just additional information on an existing message/report and so is either lost completely or else is very difficult to use to resolve the original need.
A very simple method to be able manage this kind of “conversation” would be ideal.
