Gmail Connection Time Out Failure - Fix/Workaround in V. 2 on Crowdmap?

Folks,


I read previous postings and saw that Gmail connection timeout failures were expected to be fixed in V. 2.0. Is this also true for the Crowdmap-hosted instances? Are there any known work-arounds that have surfaced? Error details are below.


Error Msg:




Connection failed to gmail-imap.l.google.com,993: Connection timed out

Config Parameters:




Instance: http://alamedacert.crowdmap.com

Username: alameda.cert.us@gmail.com

Mail Server Password: ********* (same as gmail mail account)

Mail Server Port: 993

Mail Server Host: imap.gmail.com

Mail Server Type: imap

Mail Server SSL support: Yes
